(That Aren’t My Usual Cup of Tea)

Initial Thoughts:

I’d sound like a broken record if I were to recommend Federle’s The Great American Whatever, Zentner’s The Serpent King, or any of Ness’ contemporary-ish titles that are, in theory, “outside my comfort zone” — which I’d rather say “aren’t my cup of tea” because comfort zone sounds like I’m discomforted by them…which I’m not.

So instead, I’ll grace you with the lovely recommendations from other bloggers that have a big question mark over them for me personally.

[2016 Book Blogger Love-A-Thon] — An Invitation To Do Protagonist-y Things

The Book Blogger Love-A-Thon is a blogging event hosted by Alexa @ Alexa Loves Books, Cee @ The Novel Hermit, Hazel @ Stay Bookish, and Mel @ The Daily Prophecy.

Thoughts:

The original challenge was called “An Invitation to Tea” where you assemble people from the community and authors to sit around and drink tea and talk and stuff. That’s cool and all…but let me just take a different route with this prompt by saying this is an invitation to save the world.

You can call me that wise matchmaking seer who sets these heroes on their journey…yes, that’s it.
