Initial Thoughts:
I’d sound like a broken record if I were to recommend Federle’s The Great American Whatever, Zentner’s The Serpent King, or any of Ness’ contemporary-ish titles that are, in theory, “outside my comfort zone” — which I’d rather say “aren’t my cup of tea” because comfort zone sounds like I’m discomforted by them…which I’m not.
So instead, I’ll grace you with the lovely recommendations from other bloggers that have a big question mark over them for me personally.
Continuing on with Day 2 of my random Valentines themed week, the V-Day inspired TTT theme is all about romance and ships and OTPs and all that lovey dovey stuff. It was sort of a freebie! So, you know, of course this edit was fitting…

…but I don’t have enough vested interest in timely fiction to say where/when I’d be interested in reading, so because I’m me, this change in prompt is necessary
