[Miscellaneous] – ARC August 2015 – Recap

Miscellaneous is the tagline to store random posts that don’t really belong elsewhere. They may involve tags, awards, challenges, and other book blogging nonsense.

My initial goal was tackling this pile:

From this bunch, I managed to finish Zeroes, Madly, and I’m expected to finish the last 50 pages of Don’t Fail Me Now tonight (so that’s still in the limits of August, yeah?). As for The Scorpion Rules, I swapped that book out midway to read The Dead House instead. I might read it in September (because I was amused by Maggie Stiefvater’s review of it) but I’m kinda leaning towards The Blackthorn Key instead. Buuuut who knows?

So, in theory, I did finish my 4-book goal–so yay for month-long read-a-thons. I can’t wait to get back to reading the regular my stuff from my recent hauls (August was a month Colleen Hoover).

If you participated in ARC August, how did you do?
