Other Feels:

Television (Not a full list of what I watch):

If you love to talk television, hit me up on Twitter and we can experience the feels together!

Shows I Am Perpetually Behind On: Arrow, The Flash, Agents of Shield, TVD, The Blacklist S3, Quantico S2, Luke Cage S1, Mr. Robot S2, Class S1, Iron Fist S1

13 Reasons Why: Must binge. Dylan is very cinnamon roll-y.

Big Brother S5: Although I’m not the biggest fan of the cast, I do like how bad these newbies are playing…

Black Mirror S3: Watched all of S3 and the White Christmas special. So good.

Designated Survivor S1: I don’t can’t trust anyone on this show…

Legion S1: How to get hyped for a tv show and recommend it to other people but have not seen a single episode? It me.

Making History S1: This show has it’s moments but a as a whole, the charisma in the leads aren’t enough for me, I think.

Powerless S1: Goodbye, you are dropped.

Reign S4: Do I drop this show or struggle through the final season hm.

Riverdale S1: Ronny is a dark horse of an actress and I am here for all of it.

Shingeki no Kyojin S2: I WATCHED THE OPENING INTRO AND THAT’S ALL I CAN GET INTO IT. I’M SO WEAK I CAN’T WATCH IT.

The 100 S3: *Moves this to forever behind*

The Arrangement S1: I see your judgmental eyes and raise you a…yeah, I got nothing.

The Bachelor S21: Stopped watching at the episode before finale?

The Magicians S2: Agh, I am behind.

The Mindy Project S5: The episode that Mindy wishes to become a White Man is pretty great.

Films:

Hacksaw Ridge: I…surprisingly, this film gave me a lot the feels (re: the resilience of willpower). But, I’m not really for the need for the historical stomp on the Japanese.

Sing: Some Most animals are assholes, but as a whole, there were some lol moments.

Music:

(Maroon bolded names link to the track for easy peasy listening)

EDM/Pop:

Audien x Max – One More Weekend: This is just one of those things that I can listen to mindlessly (does that sound bad?)

Cheat Codes – No Promises (feat. Demi Lovato)See above reason.

Justin Caruso – Talk About Me (feat. Victoria Zaro): See above above reason.

Shinhwa – This Love: Cleaning out old files and found this kpop gem re: Shingeki no Kyojin dancing lololol.

James Arthur – Say You Love Me: Ayyyyyyy an oldie (ish) fave.

Eurovision 2017:

I’VE STARTED LISTENING TO THE ENTRIES SOMEONE STOP ME.

Kristian Kostov – Beautiful Mess (Bulgaria)Th

Isaiah Firebrand – Don’t Come Easy (Australia): I have to back Australia because they’re  not part of EU. Also his eyebrows are distracting/putting me in a trance. It’s kind of magical.

Blanche – City Lights: The flying orb in this is tripping me out.

Tijana Bogićević – In Too Deep (Serbia): Literally sounds like every EDM song I listen to.

Afterthoughts:

An even more busy work month but met with awesome news — if everything works out, I’ll be able to attend Book Expo America/Book Con as media/press!

If you have a March recap, shoot me a link and I’ll try my best to blog hop

Cheers,
Joey

  1. I am behind on the Magicians too now :/ I think I skipped a month worth of episodes. BUT I binged all of 13 Reasons Why in one sitting and I can’t get it out of my head … it’s stuck … my favourite pretentious unhelpful Yoda will forever be Tony now.

    1. I don’t even know how/why I’m behind when the first few episodes (I think the season premiere, actually, WAS HILARIOUS). I’m on Ep 12 (and 45 mins in upon writing this comment) of 13 Reasons and it is surprisingly well done, and dare I say, well acted. Omg I love Tony…but I might like Jeff more. BOTH are cinnamon rolls…

      1. Oh, 13RW is DEFINITELY well acted and I am so happy about that. I struggled with the book a lot more. Tony and Jeff … tough call. I wouldn’t want to have to decide between them.

  2. BookCon in NYC in June? If so, I’m going!! 😀 Not BEA, but the BookCon days I’ll be there. I bought tickets for both days, but possibly might only go one day so I can explore NYC more. I’m so behind on all my tv shows. I have all of the Riverdale shows on record, but still haven’t watched them. I watched the first episode of 13 Reasons Why yesterday. Not sure how I feel about it. I was also not really a big fan of the book though, so idk. I’ll probably watch a few more episodes and see how I feel.

    1. Oh my, Ashley! We must find time to meet and you can experience all of my awkward in all it’s glory! Are you making a trip out of Book Con et al.? Or just there for the weekend for the convention?

I think you had good reason to be behind, with the wedding and all. But, I totally understanding the boulder-rolling-down-the-hill effect with getting behind on shows.

I’ve heard the 13 Reasons show is a good departure from the source material — and I’m thoroughly enjoying it (even if I kindo f hate 90% of the characters in the story…or at least think they’re useless at a minimum).

      1. I really wanted to go to BookCon, so Andy and I worked our honeymoon around it LOL! So we’ll be going to Washington DC and then taking a bus to go to NYC the day before BookCon starts and leaving the day after (on the Monday). So we’ll be in NYC for the weekend of BookCon. 😀 We definitely have to find time to meet up!

Yeah, the wedding and all the planning definitely took over my life and left me hardly any time to watch my shows. Now I have more free time though! So I need to catch up. I may try to watch a few more episodes of 13 Reasons this weekend and see how I like it. I wasn’t sold on the first episode, we’ll see.

  3. I am so unimpressed with the UK Eurovision song contest. I’m tired of the same old ballads. I’m going to be good and not listen to any of the songs until the big night.

      1. That is true. This year they’ve gone back to the ballad but it’s such a forgettable song.

If it helps my choice in team has come to bite me in the arse cause I was not expecting NJD to be so bad. Congrats on reaching the playoffs. You and my brother officially have bragging rights.

    1. I need to accept that I will be forever behind on behind forever behind.

13 Reasons Why is surprisingly good, at least for me. I wasn’t sure what to expect but, like you, I started with episode 1…then it went to 2…now I’m on 12 and I certainly felt a tsunami of emotions throughout. So great.
