Other Feels:
Television (Not a full list of what I watch):
If you love to talk television, hit me up on Twitter and we can experience the feels together!
Shows I Am Perpetually Behind On: Arrow, The Flash, Agents of Shield, TVD, The Blacklist S3, Quantico S2, Luke Cage S1, Mr. Robot S2, Class S1
Black Mirror S2: I saw bits and pieces of the first episode. Still a great show I would recommend.
How To Get Away With Murder S3: I’m fine with [redacted]. WHO DUNNIT THOUGH? Hit me up with your theories!
Kim’s Convenience S1: Finally got to finish the first season! There’s more of an urge to visit this store now that I’m done re: I literally only work a few blocks away down the street…
Legion S1: Need to watch need to watch need to watch.
Powerless S1: A show about the everyday working individual in a world with superheroes? Premise-wise, it sounds so great. But no, it was terrible. Based on the pilot viewing.
Reign S4: I knew they announced a last season for this show BUT I ALSO DIDN’T KNOW IT HAD RETURNED ALREADY?! Alas, I am behind on the premiere.
Resident Advisors S1: I saw the pilot for this a long while back but never got around to finishing it. So I did. And it is legit the cast of Glee in a dorm setting.
Riverdale S1: I’m trash for every CW Network show (as I will always give it a try).
Suits S6: As much as I like Donna, so much of it feels forced now blergh. I do like the route they’re taking with mike though.
The 100 S3: I honestly don’t remember what happened at the end of this season. I enjoyed it…but I couldn’t tell you what happened.
The Bachelor S21: Top three: Vanessa, Raven, Rachel – STILL ALIVE AND KICKING.
The Magicians S2: I’ve only watched episode 1 of the new season but it was so great. This is such a hidden gem of a show, I swear.
Films:
Arrival: Will I write a review for this? I should. But if I don’t: I thought it was a good film overall. Not great, just good. The characters were a bit of a doozy since only the protagonist mattered.
Music:
(Maroon bolded names link to the track for easy peasy listening)
EDM/Pop:
Dear Evan Hansen (Original Soundtrack): I am addicted. You should watch this performance with Ben Platt on Seth Myers.
Ed Sheeran – Shape of You (bvd kult remix): The original is addicting yes, but so many remixes have been released since then that are equally ear-wormy.
Martin Garrix (feat. Dua Lipa) – Scared to be Lonely: Martin. Garrix. Wheeeeee.
Afterthoughts:
I would call this a successful blogging month. Ish.
Cheers,
Joey

I really enjoy the format and way of this post! How To Get Away With Murder is amazing, but I’ve only recently finished S2. Sounds like you had a good month, though!

I’m glad you appreciate the formatting! I’m definitely trying to make the lengthy text more accessible in reading.
You must catch up on HTGAWM! Although it’s widely convoluted now, I’m trash for the television show ahaha.

Wow!! Looks like you had an awesome month!! Great job!!

Definitely a solid blogging month in comparison to recent but reading month? Yikes.

Lol I’m glad I didn’t bother with Carve the mark but I can’t wait to read History is All You Left Me! I totally forgot I was watching HTGAWM s3 so I’ll just have to return to that now.

I took the hit for like 3128371731 people in the community to not read CtM. Hard pass, Jeann!
Let me know if you’re dying with feels if/when you catch up on HTGAWM :)!

I’ve given up on Agents of SHIELD. I feel a little sad about it, but in the end I just don’t care anymore. They are so inconsistent in their quality and then they get sooooo boring at times. I doubt I will ever catch up now *she says while wondering if she might just binge it all at the end of the season*
I am already in LOVE with Riverdale though and made it my mission to get up to date with all the reboot comics now. There goes my money out the window!

I feel you with SHIELD. I don’t know. After the Inhuman bit, it started going downhill real fast (as it was already). I’d binge it…but only if I’m met with the promise of FitzSimmons legit canon >___>… otherwise, goodbyeeee.
I’m a bit of a hit/miss with some of the content on Riverdale. Like, yeah it’s basically traditional “CW”-type show and though it gets some stuff right (as it relates to contemporary issues), some of the other [many] scenes just feel so out of place and forced. Acting isn’t terrible though…based on CW’s quality.

Oh yes, FitzSimmons is a very good reason to watch … but then again, you could just watch their scenes on YouTube without having to suffer through the rest? hahaha

YOU ARE RIGHT. Goodbye AOS.

I do not see Blacklist on your list of TV shows…Should I be concerned? Especially since you need to catch up with the Blacklist Redemption show coming out soon? I saw the preview for it with the last BL episode we watched and I saw Agnes in it, so maybe there will be more of Liz and Tom.
Oh, and I’m digging that Sheeran mix. I love that guy.

I AM BEHIND ALL DAY EVERY DAY. I’m at that point where I don’t know if I’ll ever get a chance to catch up since I’m so behind and I am not looking forward to the start of this new show.
I have many (many) Sheeran mixes. Can definitely float some more your way.

Awesome! 🙂
You should just speed watch them. Fast forward through each episode until you see something that looks interesting.

But then I’d miss out on the random quips of necessary dialogue from even Aram et al!

So true. Get watching then.

Wow, your book review charts are so organized and specific! :O I’m impressed.
I’ve been meaning to see Arrival!

The review charts are also the most obscure rating method ever because there is no true consistency in how I rate hahaha.
Arrival is good and definitely is steeped in meaning than what I initially thought it would be! Like a mix of E.T. and Interstellar…but takes place on space? (That’s probably a bad comparison, actually)

Great month you had! I really want to watch Riverdale! I’ve been hearing lots of good things about it! I’m also behind on a lot of superhero shows. Life just keeps getting in the way!

I feel like there’s like 2-3 new superhero shows per year and I’m already drowning in them — I’ll never be able to catch up. Happy watching!

I’ve been recording Riverdale on my DVR, but haven’t gotten around to watching the episodes yet! It looks really good though.

It’s enjoyable! I’m not too familiar with the lore (?) of the original comics but I can get on board with the Gossip Girl vibes (ish) of how they’re prefacing this adaptation.

I used to read the comics when I was younger, but it’s been a long time since then. I don’t really remember them much though.

I was really looking forward to Powerless, but the pilot was so disappointing. I am going to give it another episode or two before I decide if I am giving it a pass, though.
