Jingle Books and Mistletoe: Bookmas Gathering
I’ve been organizing a book community Bookmas meetup during the tail-end of Nov. I didn’t post anything of it as it’s a Toronto based event with bloggers/tubers/etc; which is surely less than 0.003% of you. If you’re local to here and didn’t get an e-mail from me, chances are I either A) didn’t know you’re from the area, B) couldn’t find your e-mail, or C) I don’t know you.
Other Feels:
Television (Not a full list of what I watch):
(If you love to talk television, hit me up on Twitter and we can share feels together!)
Arrow S4: Bring-back-from-not-dead-shenanigans.
Code Black S1: I admit to being squirmy when needles and excessive blood is involved. Yikes.
Criminal Minds S11: SAVE THE DIRTY DOZEN.
Grandfathered S1: Meh.
How To Get Away With Murder S2: The acting in the Fall finale was spectacular. Especially the scene inside the house on “that day”. Spot on.
iZombie S2: I will never tire of the different faces of Liv.
Jessica Jones S1: Finishing this made me really want to actually finish Daredevil in another binge (I stopped at like…ep 3).
Limitless S1: The wombo combo cheesy writing and production works because A+ acting from McDorman.
Marvel’s Agent of SHIELD S3: FUCK YOU COSMOS, STOP RUINING MY SHIP OHMYGODRTSDIHAIASIUD.
Quantico S1: May not be the best acted but the action does keep you guessing. So there’s that.
Reign S3: RIP.
The Blacklist S3: Had it’s moments of excitement, especially in that latest episode. FUCKING CABAL.
The Flash S2: Slowly catching up from episode 4…
The Mindy Project S4: I wish Mindy were my friend irl.
The Vampire Diaries S7: The things that are happen are totally not convoluted. /sarcasm
Shows I Am Behind On/Consider Dropping
Heroes: Reborn (ep 1), Blindspot (ep 2), Scream Queens (ep 3), Minority Report (ep 3).
Films:
N/A. Woe is me.
Music:
(Maroon bolded names link to the track for easy peasy listening)
Adele – Hello: Easily one of my go-to shower songs now LOL. IT’S SO FUN TO BELT TO THIS SONG OKAY.
Martin Jensen – Miracles (feat. Bjørnskov): Borderline cheesy lyrics are winners to me for some reason.
Trevor Dahl – When You Come Home: Though classified as tropical house, this song is more heavy on acoustic guitar than anything and is just so relaxing.
Mako – Smoke Filled Room (Elephante Remix): I posted this song a while back as it was a great listen but this remix gives me all the feels too. So why not include it?
Bvrnout – Breakaway (feat. Baasik): Best listened to when you’re walking downtown and life just happens.
Afterthoughts:
Crappy commenting month is crappy. Le sigh.
Cheers,
Joey

I’m so disappointed in myself that I didn’t get to Ruin & Rising and The Rest of Us Just Live Here this year (I’m pretty much sure I won’t be reading them this month).
I’ve been wanting to check out How To Get Away With Murder. It seems that everyone likes it so much!

YES WATCH HTGAWM AND TWEET ME WHILE IT HAPPENS. Heck, I’ll even rewatch it all with you LOL.
I hope you find time to get to R&R and TRoUJLH sometime in the future then! Too many books, man. BUT. I will make the promise in this comment that FOR SURE I will read I Hunt Killers sometime within the next 6 months (that’s doable, right?)

LOL! Okay! I’ll let you know when I watch it! It’ll probably after Christmas! I have weekends off work, so I will binge watch it like crazy. HAH.
I am seriously overwhelmed with how many books I have that I haven’t read yet. There are just too many books and it’s crazy when I think about them all and the ones I really want to read! I can’t wait to see what you think about I Hunt Killers! I really hope I didn’t over hype it for you, HAHA. So far everyone that I got to read it hasn’t been disappointed though, so there’s that!

Curious to read your thoughts on Bird Box!

Aside from my belief that the MC was named after the authors last name, Malerman (c’mon Malorie? stop stroking your ego). The ending just begs for a sequel, seriously.

A meet up, that’s so amazing, I wish I could do this kind of thing, but no one lives near me ahah 🙂
And hhahahah, you’re so right about Adele’s Hello, I kind of sing it in the shower too haha 😛

Love you recaps! And as always I think that your TV summaries are ON POINT!! (P.S. I think everyone wishes Mindy was their friend irl …)

Toronto is one place I would love to visit again. Have fun at the bookmas meet up. I’ve been on the fence about Heroes Reborn for a while now. Part of me wants to watch it for nostalgic reasons but after all the reviews I’ve read I get the feeling that it’s fallen into the same trap the original show did after season 1.

I actually didn’t find myself invested in the first go around with Heroes; much to the enjoyment of everyone else around me. So I still have no idea if I’ll get round to this remake-ish.

I still can’t wrap my mind around how many different TV shows you watch each month! :O It would confuse me so much to be in the midst of them all. I rather binge-watch seasons, so the show count stays low and my patience doesn’t wear thin across the board. Lol. Weirdly, I’m always currently reading at least 4–5 books. (According to GR I’m at 8 now. Oops.)

I sacrifice reading time to watch my shows…else I’d wither away.
