To Be Writen In A Future Title By Author

Have a contest or something that I’d miraculously win out of thousands of entries. I don’t care if I end up being the sacrificial lamb, being written into a book? How awesome would that be…and if certain authors were the one to do it? EVEN BETTER.

Bonus points if you can guess the author. DING DING DING, NO ONE SURPRISED BY NESS.

Sync Everyone’s Vacation Days For Meetups 

…so that I can meet everyone whom I’ve spoken to online at some book convention, at Dim Sum, or some event. I’m not saying EVERY single person, but it’d be nice to go to Stateside or Australia and then every friend is magically free and able to hang out, yeah?!

(And to a lesser degree: Dim Sum Book Club. That’s what’s up.)

Combine Part 1/2 Films Into One

Let’s be honest: I would rather sit for an extra 2-3 hours (with no intermission) if films didn’t have the lame Part 2 versions. Just one movie would be nice.

Allow Book Outlet To Ship Worldwide

So you can experience all the glorious pain that comes with discounts and the necessity of checking the website every day like you do with Twitter and Facebook. People who’ve bought from BO will understand.

The Construction Of Themed Resorts/Parks

Just think about it for a second. I’m not even talking about Harry Potter World or some Hunger Games fight-to-the-death simulation (though that would be cool, minus the dying part) but to all those fantasy worlds that aren’t as prolific–those kinda worlds. We can agree that most franchises don’t have the fan base to support it (aside from the novelty of it all) but the thought is there.

For Dreams To Pull From Stories

I’m not saying I’m tired of eating food in my dreams or running from shadowy enigmas…it’s just that it’d be cool if my brain was able to be like “hey, you’re a supp. character in this one scene of book XYZ, let’s play it out visually!” Maybe the key is to bash your face into the words for a while before you rest for the night? I cannot confirm or deny if this works.

Musical-ify Everything

I think this is more for my self-amusement than anything but much like A Very Potter Musical, do it for all popular franchises. Sometimes it will work…other times not. But that’s okay.

Auto-Formatting Reviews

I’m sure there’s a smart way to do this but I just haven’t found it yet. Either way: I would totally appreciate it if uploading reviews once would be intuitive enough to auto-format and everything to my template onto other sites. HOW NICE WOULD THAT BE. I know we can get to this point one day. Maybe I won’t be alive to see it but for the future…I hope it’s a thing.

(I’m not even gonna go into how I would much rather have the old WP Reader layout etc.)

Holographic Book Covers

Much like how there are animated/GIF-y e-book covers now that are on loop, I would surely pay a smidge more for holographic physical book covers (assuming it’s not a glossy mess). BECAUSE WHY SETTLE FOR LESS?

…and maybe also send over a bookshelf, eh Genie? (BECAUSE I STILL DON’T HAVE ONEEEEEE).
