Book Scavenger Hunt

Hello to you person who is probably not interested in Bout of Books challenge bananas. Today’s challenge is a Book Scavenger Hunt with rapidly declining picture quality to boot!

Book Scavenger Hunt:

Note: I went with an overall blue theme for this hunt.

1. A book that begins with “B” (for Bout of Books!)

I have a few B-title books that start with “The” and this is the only one that actually started with B. This is also the only picture I tried editing to fit the “blue” theme (original text colour is red).

The rest of the pictures decrease in quality because I got lazy LOL…

2. A book you’re planning to read/currently reading

3. Blue book(s)

…These [should be] all of my blue books I’ve yet to read. Could be worse though, right?

4. Books from your favorite genre!

…There are other titles (with blue covers) that I wanted to include here but they’re lent out. I think my favourite genre is somewhere under the SF-F umbrella.

…this is close enough to blue, okay? (I also do not have shelving but more on that in a different post.)

Reading progress from Day 1 is around 250 pages. I finished Dawn Kurtagich’s The Dead House. My reading updates will do the rest:

  • page 218: “WHAT IS EVEN HAPPENING??! ASDGSUADHAUHDASUIAhd”
  • page 286: “CONFIRMED: I AM LOSING MY MIND…”
  • page 400 (end): “what the actual fuck?”

  2. Seriously, two posts in a day. And you killed it on the reading, I’m jealous. I loved your updates while you read that book. I want to start reading it now, but I just started a new book last night. GRRRR.

  3. LMAO at #2! You go power through that book 😀 You can do it!!! I really hate it when a book has a bunch of long chapters >.< I become less motivated to finish it haha. Damn that's a lot of blue books. I think most of the books on my bookshelves are blue, too. Surprise, surprise. And great job on posting 2 posts in 1 day 🙂 I can never do that haha.

  4. The book photography in this post… I love it! 😀 Blue’s my favorite color so I’m generally more attracted to cooler toned covers. I also have a lot of blue on my TBR shelf.

    And whoa, you’ve been super productive with blogging and reading lately! Several book reviews, and 2 posts IN A DAY? I on the other hand read only one book this month. I’m in a really bad reading slump. :/
