Other Feels:

Television (Not a full list of what I watch):

(If you love to talk television, hit me up on Twitter and we can share feels together!)

Orphan Black S3: I’m sure you already know my feels between the grenade, the Hendrix cash-throwing antics, and the preppy clone. Complete bananas.

Game  of Thrones S5: Google has given me more spoiler-y information than I would have liked to know. (But that’s okay.)

Suits: The first episode back (season 5) made me so sad.

Big Brother US 17: Still weary on who to root for I hate the BoTB twist. First impressions: Da’Vonne, Steve, James, and John are alright. I could do without Jace though. Audrey is forming bombsquad 2.0. Not sure about Jason. Meg makes solid commentary. I would lump Da’Vonne into this good commentary if she wasn’t so paranoid all day LOL. Austin is huge. Clay looks and sounds like someone right out of a New Adult book.

Mr. Robot S1: This show though—highly recommended.

Suits S5: Darvey causes me much pain.

Sing It On S1: I felt all the emotions following the journey of these collegiate a cappella groups from auditions onward. Way more genuine than Pitch Perfect.

Sense8 S1: This show is bananas (that’s a good thing).

Clipped S1: Some moments had good laughs but it certainly plays up the casts stereotypes.

Scream S1: How is it possible that I hated everyone within the first 15 minutes of the pilot? This may not end well…

Billie and Billy S1: Gave the pilot a go. Hmmm. I might need to invest in more episodes.

Films:

Jurassic World: Our fascination with dinosaurs makes us become masochists to poor acting and questionable writing—but that’s okay—because explosions! And dinos breaking shit! And humans getting what they deserved! Yay!

Cinderella: CANNOT UNSEE ROBB STARK.

Music:

(Links provided via. description)

Zedd feat. Jon Bellion – Beautiful Now: The music video is just a wonderful accompaniment.

Vicetone feat. Kat Nestel – Nothing Stopping Me: My new jams that was just released.

Blinders feat. Charles – Blind (3LAU Remix): Solid.

Honka & Cuebrick – Alive: Acoustic tracking with a beat. Wheeee.

Project 46. feat. Karl Wolf – Beat Again: It’s cheesy edm tracks like these that I enjoy LOL.

Afterthoughts:

June was a better reading and reviewing month but not so much in the discussion department. The Blog Olympics should change that for July even if I’m front loading the posts for the weeklong event.

I’ve also suddenly gotten into this funk of beging bad at commenting back within the day -_-…now it’s like within the week. Ahhhhh.

Cheers,
Joey

  1. Looks like a great month! I honestly did want to see Jurassic World again. The acting was definitely an atrocity. But the DINOSSS. I guess I just really enjoyed watching dinos eat, fight, and attack. Good luck with your commenting thing.

  2. I don’t really know who I like the most yet on Big Brother either. I think Jason is probably the one I like the best if I had to choose right now.
Jace…I really don’t like him at all. I’m trying my hardest to be spoiler free this season, so I am crossing my fingers that the backdoor plan is going through. I’m so tempted to go read all the spoilers though haha.
I was kind of rooting for Audrey, but then the whole bomb squad 2.0 is having me question how smart I really thought she was.
I love Da’s commentary in the diary room, but I’m not really sure I like her as a player. It’s still early though, so who knows!
I think Austin will be a better player without Jace. They annoy me so much when they are together. I have a feeling he slightly changes himself to adapt to Jace, which is annoying!

  3. I need Orphan Black S3 in my life so bad right now. In fact, I hope I can remember most of S1 and 2 because I watched them a while ago! I’ve been debating Sense8… will continue that debate this month lol R x

  4. *snorts* The Deal. Le sigh. I can’t believe you inadvertently pressured me to read that book. Still debating on whether or not I should review. Anyway, have a great month of July, Joey!

  5. I really need to watch Orphan Black. I have so much TV to watch and with the weather being really nice where I live, I feel so fricken guilty sitting inside and watching TV. But oh my god Cinderella, I was the same, Cannot unsee Robb Stark!
